Nancy Colier is on the board of the Nyaka AIDS Orphans School in Uganda, Africa. www.nyakaschool.org. In this role, she offers guidance, leadership, and fundraising for Nyaka’s two free primary schools. She is currently creating and developing a secondary school to support the children when they complete their primary education.

The mission of Nyaka is to provide free quality education and extra curricular activities, both formal and informal, to children who have been orphaned due to HIV/AIDS. In addition, Nyaka is a model program for supporting the communities and the grandmothers who are raising this generation of orphans. This mission is an ongoing project that will continue growing each year. At the end of 2010 school, 417 students graduated.
